¿ Qué es SAP EWA ?

EWA es EarlyWatch Alert
Para ubicarnos dentro del mapa, estamos dentro de SAP Solution Manager. (qué mapa? lee sobre nuestro mapa de SAP aquí)

Básicamente, es una herramienta que nos permitirá monitorear el sistema y ver el rendimiento del mismo.

En mundosap.com dicen:

El Early Watch sirve para que SAP monitoreo tus instancias, la manera en que las monitorea es mediante un program (RTCCTOOL), el cual habilita el Early Watch y mediante la transacción sdcc le envía a SAP las características de Sistema operativo, Base de Datos y instancia de SAP.
Todo esto lo realiza para que después SAP te recomiende modificaciones.

En forosap.com dicen:

EWA = Early Watch Alert , son informes que te manda SAP sobre el estado de tu sistema. Se deben configurar a traves de la web o del Solution Manager. (...)

Pues realmente no se si hay algún manual oficial , y es bastante util ya que te hace recomendaciones sobre optimizar tu sistema y parametros

El EWA es la base del sistema, te dice si tienes problemas de performance, actualizaciones de Add-ons, aplicaciones de notas, actualizaciones de kernel, parametros de seguridad a nivel de roles y perfiles ..
